B-BBEE Verification Manager

Job Description

• Management of a team to ensure quality, deliverables and operations.
• Reviewing of Verification Files
• Training and mentorship of technical aspects and new legislation.
• Conducting occasional marketing meetings and/or verification audit for large, complex clients.
• Management of compliance requirements
• Weekly reporting to Directors
• Upholding SANAS verification requirements
• Manage full B-BBEE verification Function of the Company
• Having an in-depth knowledge of the amended B-BBEE codes of Good practice, the B-BBEE Act and other related legislation.
• MDP (Management Development Program)
• Engage with clients on the process to be followed when conducting evaluations.
• Quality Assurance.
• Examine and evaluate target enterprises to determine their B-BBEE status, review company policies and compliance with B-BBEE Acts and /or charters in South Africa.
• Liaise with staff of the target enterprises to ensure all required information for accreditation is accessible.
• Schedule and conduct site evaluations with shareholder and/or directors and the relevant senior managers of the target enterprises.
• Conclude on the B-BBEE status of the target enterprise.
• Assist and analyse verifications.
• Manage and co-ordinate systems, procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Relevant post-matric qualification compulsory (preferably commercial or law)
• At least 3 years of B-BBEE experience.
• B-BBEE MDP course credential is preferable
• Excellent people management ability
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and numerical skills are critical
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
• Quality Assurance
• Experience in B-BBEE codes and B-BBEE accreditation
• Experience in transformation process and B-BBEE Analysis
• Experience within a B-BBEE Rating Agency
• Good communication skills and MS Office
• Assist with verifications
